This one-of-a-kind tabletop sculpture features a pair of hand-forged steel roses blooming from a weathered tin coffee can "planter," set in a base of broken glass, rocks, metal shavings, sand and more. Each petal was individually shaped, welded, and finished to give the blooms a lifelike appearance—with zero watering required. The flowers, leaves, and stems are all handmade from reclaimed steel and mounted in a found-object container..
The coffee grounds can base shows natural rust and distress markings, adding to the gritty charm of the piece. The base is weighted and stable, and the flowers are permanently affixed in place.
No molds. No shortcuts. Just recycled metal and fire turned into something beautiful.
