This handmade door pull is built from a solid railroad spike driven through a steel mounting plate, then formed into a heavy-duty handle.
 
The spike passes through the plate instead of simply being attached to the surface, giving the piece a direct, old-school forged construction style. It is built for use as a door pull, gate handle, cabinet handle, barn door pull, or custom architectural hardware.
 
The raw steel surface is sealed under a gloss clear enamel finish to help preserve the metal and make the handle easier to wipe clean. Each handle is made one at a time, so surface texture, hammer marks, weld character, and finish variation will differ from piece to piece.
 
This piece can be mounted in different orientations depending on your layout and intended use.
