Hand-formed steel table lamp built from a single continuous strip of metal shaped into a teardrop frame.
 
The steel band is bent, welded, and finished in-house at Colonial Metalworks, then mounted to a round steel base for stability. The open-frame design centers a brass-finish socket with an exposed Edison-style bulb, putting the bulb visually inside the metal loop. The flickering, glimmering light bulb highlights the metal, reminiscent of glistening rain fall.
