Crafted from a reclaimed industrial air compressor tank, this creation features robust steel construction. It is a handmade creation by the skilled artisans at Colonial Metalworks.

The raw steel has a natural patina. The thick steel has a layer of surface rust that gives it an authentic rustic look. Even if left unmaintained this tank will withstand the coastal elements for more than a few years.

This firepit can be fueled by propane by connecting to the gas line fitting on the bottom side of the tank. Information for options will be provided with purchase. This hooks up to propane exactly as your grill does.

There's also a back access to the pit so you can use as wood burner. Some customers have used there's as planters...the options are nearly endless.

Stands approximately 52" tall (not counting the leaves). Body is 24" diameter.

Maintenance is easy, just use it and keep debris out of it. Washing it off with freshwater from time to time will help keep the salts, chlorides, and acids from settling into the metal. Keeping out of the elements is always best BUT keeping a cover over it is the worst practice. Condensation becomes trapped under the cover and accelerates the rusting dramatically.

Fire pit is staged on the steel cylinders, they are not part of the assembly.
