This comprehensive self-paced course builds foundational knowledge in Visual Testing (VT), including core principles, equipment, procedures, documentation, evaluation requirements, and safety considerations. It is intended for personnel preparing for VT certification, completing refresher training, or strengthening practical VT knowledge.
 
This training program is structured to support employer-based NDT personnel qualification and certification programs in accordance with the applicable training expectations of ASNT SNT-TC-1A, ANSI/ASNT CP-189, and NAS-410, as applicable to the employer’s written practice, customer requirements, and certification program. The program provides documented course content, training hours, participant completion records, examinations, and traceability to support employer review, acceptance, and compliance with CP-189 and NAS-410 training documentation requirements.

This course is developed and administered by an ASNT NDT Level III with additional instructor qualifications. Completion of this training does not constitute personnel certification. Personnel certification remains the responsibility of the employer’s Certifying Authority, applicable written practice, customer requirements, and designated Level III / Responsible Level 3.
