Colonial Metalworks

Artisan Fueled & Chaos Engineered Creations

This very unique axe tool was hand forged from a used XL 1-13/16" box end wrench. The repurposed steel from the wrench was transformed into a beautiful and very functional axe. Very sharp, very durable, and will last a lifetime. The head on this axe is a result of heating and forging the wrench end into this shape, no other material was added or welded. The edge can be resharpened the same as any quality blade.

This is a functional axe-hatchet that chops wood. Has great weight balance and fits in the hands just right.

Artisan handcrafted in a genuine grassroots metalworking shop. We have an intentional design with our wrench blades...performance and quality of a precision-made instrument but with the appearance that the mechanic went over to the shop bench and quickly made it out of necessity. Something you'd expect to see out in the wild...

This would make a great gift for mechanics or just overall tool lovers. This is a great conversation piece as well, leave it laying on a table or desk and you'll find that many hands and eyes gravitate to it right away.
